Global AP & AR Manager - Cambridge

Eutopia Search is exclusively partnered with a leading Cambridge-based business that is seeking an AP & AR Manager to oversee all aspects of transactional finance.

The business is currently undergoing vast change and transformation, presenting an excellent opportunity for someone to take ownership of the department, working in a complex, international environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead transactional teams for efficient cash collection, timely invoice payment, and global working capital management.
• Manage financial processes in order-to-cash and procure-to-pay cycles, acting as the main financial contact for various teams.
• Monitor short-term cash flow forecasts, reporting regularly to the CFO and Group Finance Director.
• Generate accurate customer invoices while ensuring compliance with legal and tax requirements.
• Partner with colleagues and engage with stakeholders as needed.
• Assist in developing systems and initiatives relevant to customers and suppliers.
• Monitor KPIs and contribute to short-term cash forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and controls.
• Manage financial risks and act as a key contact for audits and insurance.
• Collaborate with business partners and teams globally to achieve company objectives.
• Lead the global accounts receivable and accounts payable team, fostering engagement and skill development.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and compliance with security policies and procedures.

What we are looking for:

• ICM or equivalent qualification.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable experience
• Experience in managing diverse teams.
• Demonstrated experience in global supplier and accounts receivable management.
• Knowledge of global trading, VAT, duty requirements, and compliance.
• Proficiency in modern credit control techniques and credit risk assessment.
• Experience in matrix management environments.
