Title: GIS Technician

Location: Birmingham (Hybrid, 2 days in office)

Salary: £23 - 30,000 PA + Benefits

Excellent opportunity for a GIS Technician to join a growing Geospatial team in the West Midlands. You will play a crucial role in supporting a fast-paced property consultancy. You will produce high quality maps and plans to support everything from legal conveyancing and land registration through to planning constraints mapping for renewable energy projects.

They are looking for previous GIS experience, ESRI ArcGIS Pro along with Web GIS production in ArcGIS Online/ Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Server, web app / experience builder. Ideally you will have experience in using Ordnance Survey Licenced and Open Data products with ETL (FME), BIM / CAD experience being desirable. This post is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in GIS Enterprise application development, Spatial analysis and BIM Integration with Digital Twins. With access to the full Esri Enterprise GIS platform and the latest 2D and 3D data sets, the client will encourage you to be innovative, develop your skills and produce geospatial analysis that will help shape the world we live in.

Main Tasks:

• Undertake GIS Mapping and Cartography and basic spatial analysis.

• Prepare high-quality accurate maps to support Legal Conveyancing, Land Registration, Sales, Acquisitions and all aspects of Land and Property Management

• Data manipulation, editing, management, attribution and analysis tasks

• Digitising, Geocoding and Geo referencing data to support cartographic production.

• Production of Land Parcel Boundaries/Area Calculations
