German Speaking Finance Manager

Midas Recruitment is delighted to be exclusively partnering with this established, innovative, international, complex, industrial group who wishes to hire a UK-based Accountant to be the Finance Manager for its German business. This is a key role in an environmentally-friendly organisation, that has exciting growth plans.

Responsibilities:

Based in the UK, the responsibilities are broad and varied and will include;

• Being a strong business partner to the German management team
• Developing the budget and forecasts
• Delivering the monthly financial results (P&L, balance sheet, KPI's) with 'add-value' commentary, analysis & recommendations
• Managing cash flow and working capital requirements
• Ensuring effective financial and administrative control during a growth period
• Liaising with the Head Office finance team

Experience:

• The company seeks an experienced Accountant for this important international role.
• Prior experience in financial control and reporting in an industrial/manufacturing setting is most desirable.
• The ability to clearly deliver financial insight in both English and German languages is required.
• You will be an enthusiastic, 'hands-on' problem-solver, with excellent commercial acumen, and good people skills.

Working hours and Benefits package:

• The role is available on a permanent, full-time basis (Monday - Friday).
• The company operates a remote/hybrid work model.
• The Finance Manager will however be willing to visit the operational site in Germany and the European HQ in the Birmingham area, as required by the business need.
• The salary budget is up to £70000 per annum plus bonus.
