We are thrilled to offer a wonderful opportunity for a General Secondary Teacher to join our committed team at GSL Education in Dartmoor.

As a General Secondary Teacher, you will motivate and captivate students across various subjects, nurturing both their academic progress and personal growth. This position provides a diverse teaching opportunity across multiple subject areas, empowering you to positively influence young learners.

Job Title: General Secondary Teacher (secondary to sixth form)  
Location: Dartmoor
Salary:   £90 - £115 per day
Start Date: Immediately   

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the national curriculum, ensuring students achieve their learning objectives.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and positive behavior.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging lesson plans and innovative teaching strategies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to enable academic success.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the overall educational experience.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified teacher status with experience teaching secondary-level subjects.
  • Passionate about education and dedicated to fostering student success.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
