Location: Kidderminster
Hours: Mon - Thu 07:30am - 17:00pm Fri Early Finish
Pay: From £12.00 p/hr
Contract: Temp - Perm

Pertemps has an exciting opportunity for individuals keen to join a growing manufacturing team in Kidderminster. We are seeking motivated individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to our client's expanding operation. This role offers a Temporary to Permanent position with lots of potential and room to progress. As a General Operative you will be a part of the production process to ensure products are produced to the highest standard and exceed customers expectation.

The Duties of a General Operative:
- Read and interpret technical drawings to understand assembly requirements.
- Operate various hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as drills, saws, and sanders.
- Measure and cut materials according to specified dimensions.
- Assist in the installation of fixtures.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment.
- Adhere to strict quality control standards throughout the production process.

The Requirements of a General Operative:
Previous experience in manufacturing or production is preferred.
Experience using a variety of hand and power tools.
Ability to work effectively working to deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
