Our client is an award-winning Roofing Contracting Group operating throughout London and the South of the UK. They seek to appoint a General Manager to assume responsibility of the day to day running of the London business unit.

The role is based day to day from Surrey but will also hold travel responsibility into London.
 
Location: Surrey
Remuneration: (OTE: £130K +), Car, Pension
 
Role Overview:
Working with the support of the Directors of the Group, your role will encompass managing a thriving and successful Division of a multifaceted Roofing Group. The role includes day to day leadership and team management in the core areas of the business to include; pre construction & commercial activity (estimating, new business and key client relationship management), pre & post construction tender activity, supplier management and project procurement.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • As a core part of the Senior Management team, you will take ownership of identifying and maximising opportunities across the business
  • Look to drive pipeline and new business opportunities within the London area
  • Deliver the business plan confidently, whilst also striving to identify growth and improve efficiencies.
  • Working with the Directors and Internal stakeholders of the group in cross selling other Group Services to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Hold direct responsibility for the recruitment, training and development of staff within your team.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate must have significant operational experience working within a thriving contracting business. Underpinned by strong commercial experience. Must have a solid background in Construction Projects gained within a commercial environment, and have held responsibility for the operational activity and performance of a business within a leadership role previously
 
Experience/Qualifications sought:
  • Construction management: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Driver's Licence (Essential)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • All applicants must be computer literate and ideally have experience gained in a management role.
Remuneration:
  • Package to suit qualifications and experience.
  • Profit Share Bonus
