The ideal candidate will have strong General Management, Operational/Technical Management or Sales/Commercial Management expertise in Multi Metals Distribution, potentially they will look at candidates with Metal Processing experience, they would also look at candidates from a Value-Added Services background or they may also be open to someone from an Automotive background or a General Engineering background to be based in the Midlands. The candidate must also be a strategic thinker.

The company sells into a variety of different markets and sectors such as the Construction industry, the Automotive sector, the Transport industry and in the Food and Catering sector so experience of working in or selling to these sectors would be useful. Also, there is enormous potential for growth within the business as there is real scope to target other markets and much larger value work and contract work.

As a General Manager, you will have Full P&L Responsibilities for the company and all employees plus you will be measured on your overall financial results and overall profit made for the business along with how you integrate yourself into the team, business and overall group. Also, you must be able to demonstrate experience of managing a multi disciplined team covering commercial, operations, quality and HSE.
