Days Based Role - Monday to Friday 8:00-16:30 Monday-Thursday 8:00-12.00 Friday

My client is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers within its field of specialist metal based products and associated processes. The group is a well established producer to the global markets, having plants across the United Kingdom; they have been established over 50 years. The site near Rotherham is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this secure organisation.

Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained in Mechanical Engineering/CNC Machining
• Ability to operate CNC Machinery (manually and computer controlled)
• Write, Edit and Interpret Programmes/Drawings for CNC Machinery

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day tool room machining and turning activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards, working on several mechanical areas within a heavy machinery environment. The ideal candidate will come from a tool room machining background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with a mechanical/tool room bias. You will also be able and willing to be involved in general mechanical work. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
