General Cover Teacher - Basingstoke - ASAP or September start!

Academics are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in Basingstoke who are looking to appoint a passionate and empathetic General Cover Teacher to join them ASAP/September on a full-time contract.

They are a secondary SEMH provision which caters for pupils from 10-16 years with social, emotional and mental health needs. Due to the needs of the students, class sizes are small so you are able to meet their individual learning and emotional needs.

The newly improved school, has very high expectations of students and they work exceptionally hard with a dedicated and inspiring staff team to provide a learning environment that enables students to thrive. The school has great facilities including a brand-new IT computer suite, a state-of-the-art fitness/gym facility, and a new school library.

The suitable teacher will be emotionally intelligent, empathetic, highly motivated and be happy to cover across the curriculum and Key Stages. You must have the ability to deliver exciting and engaging lessons that develops learners' knowledge and skills, from KS2 - KS4. You will ideally have experience of teaching in an SEN/SEMH school although this role is open to all.
