GCSE Bengali Teacher

Location: Tower Hamlets, East London

Contract Type: Temporary, (2 days a week - Monday and Friday)

Salary: £140-£180 per day 

Role Overview

As a GCSE Bengali Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Bengali language instruction to students preparing for their GCSE examinations. Your expertise will help students develop language skills, cultural understanding, and confidence in using Bengali effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the GCSE Bengali syllabus.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate student progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback.
  • Cultural Context: Introduce students to Bengali culture, literature, and traditions.
  • Individualized Support: Tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A degree in Bengali or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Bengali at the GCSE level.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
