Job Title: Gate Person

Location: Gosport, Hampshire

Salary: £14-£15 per hour

Working Hours: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

Job Description:

Are you a diligent and security-conscious individual? We are seeking a reliable Gate Person to join our team in Gosport, Hampshire. As a Gate Person, you will be responsible for managing the entrance and exit points, ensuring the secure flow of employees, truckers, and authorised visitors in and out of our premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Gate Operations: Monitor and manage the entrance and exit gates efficiently.

  2. Access Control: Verify and authorise individuals entering or exiting the premises, ensuring only authorised personnel have access.

  3. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing individuals, including truckers and visitors.

  4. Communication: Coordinate with different departments to ensure seamless access for employees, truckers, and authorised visitors.

  5. Security Checks: Conduct routine security checks on incoming and outgoing vehicles to ensure compliance with security protocols.

  6. Visitor Management: Greet and direct authorised visitors, ensuring they are provided with the necessary information and guidance.

  7. Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergency situations and follow established protocols.

  8. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to all individuals entering and exiting the premises.
