Gas Service & Repair Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Service and repair gas systems and appliances in residential and domestic properties
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues or safety hazards
• Swiftly repair or replace faulty components or equipment
• Test gas systems for leaks and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Offer technical support and guidance to clients regarding gas system operation and maintenance
• Collaborate effectively with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
• Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, ensuring compliance with Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH Records

Requirements:

• Essential gas qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
• Ability to assemble, weld, and effectively use power tools
• Plumbing or carpentry experience is advantageous
• Proficiency in basic math calculations
• Capability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
• Familiarity with hand tools and their proper usage
• DBS clearance required prior to employment

Salary Range: £37,570.00 - £41,011.00 per year
