** Gas Engineer - £36,500 (£45,000 OTE). Company van, fuel card, and excellent benefits. Portsmouth**

Due to expansion a Gas Engineer role is available in Portsmouth and nearby areas with a leading Heating and Compliance firm. This position involves delivering comprehensive gas services to domestic properties, including installations such as full boiler and system installations, boiler swaps, cylinder swaps and upgrades, and radiator upgrades with pipework installations. You will perform servicing tasks such as boiler and gas fire service, as well as smoke and CO alarm checks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing, repairing, maintaining, and installing domestic heating systems
  • Completing work in compliance with specifications and gas safe regulations
  • Managing all relevant paperwork
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and safety
  • Participating in out-of-hours work, including overtime and call-out shifts
  • Adhering to operational procedures, safe working practices, and health and safety regulations
  • Reporting all accidents, near-miss events, or potential hazards
  • Handling additional maintenance tasks as required
  • Working flexibly with a diverse range of customers

Ideal Candidate:

  • Recognised formal training with relevant craft qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3) or equivalent
  • ACS Qualifications (CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT)
  • Desirable but not essential: UNVENTED qualifications
  • Understanding of gas legislation
  • A full driving license
  • Awareness of health and safety practices
  • Ability to manage time and workload effectively
  • Experience working with the public and providing excellent customer service
  • Flexibility in job performance
