Gas Combustion Field Engineer

Covering the Midlands/Yorkshire

• Realistic earnings up to £65k with overtime.
• Basic salary £45k + depending on experience.
• Company Car or Van - PHEV.

• Overnight allowance (1 or 2 nights per week AVG).
• 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

• Average overtime between 6 and 10 hours per week - Not guaranteed.
• In depth product training at Head Office.
• Shadowed on the road as part of product training.

A world-class leader known for their expertise in designing, manufacturing, installing, and maintaining products in a niche engineering sector is eager to appoint an experienced Gas Combustion Field Engineer due to continued year on year growth.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Industrial Combustion Engineer - Gas safe qualified.
• Industrial sized Burners.
• Clean UK driving licence.
• Ideally - UK Passport holder.
• Able to read and understand electrical/mechanical drawings.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Electrical skills beneficial.

THE ROLE

Typical duties would be attending breakdowns, using combustion analyser, manometer and electrical test meters.

All service calls received from customer go to Head Office and then sent from Head Office to the engineer’s tablet, laptop, phone.

If there are no calls for a particular engineer, engineers standby at home or at works depending on location (paid).

If a call comes in through the day, you are expected to respond.
