Gardener

Greycoat Lumley's client are seeking an experienced Gardener for their property in East Lothian.

The family home has approximately 600 acres and consists a family garden, lawns, a walled garden, driveway, many trees, a vegetable garden, ponds, a paddock and walkways. The Principals are looking for a Gardener to direct the development of the gardens, be hands on themselves and also lead a team.

A sound Horticultural knowledge and an understanding of the Scottish climate are essential. The Principals are currently working with a Landscape Architect and the Gardener will take on the role of working closely with them to create stunning gardens for the estate. Applicants must be highly organised with financial acumen and a collaborative approach.

The Principal is happy to invest in the required machinery which must be well maintained and handled.

This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Gardener to be involved in the project on a long term basis over several years, to be able to see their vision come to fruition and to join an enjoyable working team environment.

Accommodation: 2 bedroom property

Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 GPA Depending on experience
