Gardener / Groundsman

Urgent Requirement – Gardener / Groundsman – Birmingham

Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Gardener / Groundsman for a large organisation based in the Birmingham area. The ideal candidate will be immediately available or available at short notice.  The rate is between £11 - £12.80 per hour depending on experience.

The role will involve:

• Carry out mowing of all grassed areas using a variety of moving equipment e.g. pedestrian mowers and strimmer
• sweep up and remove all debris from the external pavements immediately around the entrances
• Carry out general maintenance to all grassed areas e.g. edging, seeding, turfing
• Maintain and water when necessary any hanging baskets
• Participate fully in all relevant estates procedures and ensure completion of all necessary documentation in accordance with Estates Department Policies
• Give assistance and support to other trade disciplines within the  Estates Department to ensure an efficient estates service is provided

The ideal candidate will need to have a driving license to drive between sites
