Salary: From £6.40 (apprentice rate) - £12.50 per hour (depending on age and in-line with Minimum wage guidelines in force at the current time)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: Day shift

The Role:

Due to the immediate nature of the role the ideal candidate will live within a 15 mile radius of Southampton.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Garden Maintenance Assistant to join our expanding team.

The company is well-established and have been operating for 54 years designing, building and maintaining domestic garden and commercial sites.

You would be working with an experienced Team Leader assisting them in the maintenance of domestic gardens and commercial sites.

We are looking for candidates with a positive can-do attitude. On the job training will be provided

Key Responsibilities:

• Support your Team Leader
• Working in all weathers undertaking a variety of gardening duties including grass cutting, pruning, weeding, mulching, composting and other seasonal tasks.
• Follow Instructions
• Ensure all the relevant machinery and materials are available for the start of each working day
• Adhere to the companies Health & Safety procedures
• Keep the site clean & tidy

Experience:

• Garden Maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)

Licence:

• Driving License (Required)

Flexible Language Requirement:

• English not required

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Southampton (SO32) Hampshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
