Croydon High School is inviting recent school or university graduates with a passion for sports to join our Gap Year Assistant programme starting September 2024.

This unique opportunity allows you to immerse yourself in delivering PE curricular and co-curricular activities at an exceptional independent day school. As a Gap Year Assistant, you'll be integral to the Physical Education Department, contributing to lessons, sports events, and school-wide activities including assemblies and clubs. Your involvement will extend to organising and participating in events like Sports Days and Open Days, going beyond the conventional school hours.

Salary: Salary £24,618, pro-rated to £20,182 for term time working

Hours: Full-time (36 hours per week), Term-time. Usually Monday-Friday but may be some weekend events. Flexible daily timings including before and after school hours/ Additional 10 days to be worked outside of school hours or during closure periods.

Contract: Fixed term contract (September 2024 to July 2025)
