This is a full-time role for a FX Trader with a company that trades in Metals and Agriculture, located in the London Area, United Kingdom, requiring the person to be on site. The FX Trader will assist senior traders with trading strategies, market analysis, and risk management. They will also collaborate with external counterparts, track positions, monitor markets, develop trade ideas, and support the FX desk overall.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or relevant experience
- Knowledge of Financial Markets, Trading, and Risk Management
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience using and developing Excel spreadsheet models
- Knowledge of programming languages, including VBA and Python helpful
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and learn quickly
- A motivated self-starter with an excellent work ethic
- Between 2 and 5 years experience in Trading, Commodities, FX, or a related field is a plus
