Futures & Options Market Maker / Trader, Senior Liquidity Provider

Fixed Income / Futures & Options Trader / Market Maker required with a minimum 3 + Years Fixed Income Trading and at least some experience of European short term interest rates.

The role is mixed between providing Liquidity in a number of different markets including managing and hedging a trading book along with analysing and developing new trading strategies and taking directional positions.

Preferred candidates will be able to provide a successful track record with a proven P & L and able to demonstrate a clear strategy for Risk Management.

Minimum Required Skills:

  • 3 + Years Successful Fixed Income Trading / Futures & Options Market Making experience
  • Stringent and Demonstrable policy to Risk Management
  • Highly analytical approach to Trading Strategy’s and developing new ones.
  • Proficient with Trading Systems - Trading Technologies / Stellar preferred.
  • In Depth knowledge of Compliance and Regulations

Desirable But Non-Essential Skills:

  • Experience of Automated / Algorithmic Trading
  • Any experience with Python, SQL or R.
  • Core knowledge of Linux

Overall remuneration may vary significantly on someone’s success / profitability but the successful candidate can expect a base salary in the £35/50k range - although that may be negotiable depending upon experience - with the opportunity to earn considerably more in profit share / bonus with total earnings potentially in the £60 / 120k region.
