FUNDING CONTROLLER - HAMPTON - UP TO £26,500 - GREAT BENEFITS

Please note that this role will be totally office based

Are you a professional Funding Controller who is able to provide support to the Finance team in the management of the day-to-day functions? You will be administering the vehicle funding aspects of the Finance department, ensuring that they are managed in an accurate and professional manner and to provide support to Finance team. My client is an independent services company specialising in vehicle management based in Hampton. They are an established and forward thinking company who have this great opportunity reporting into the Financial Director.

Accountabilities:

  • To arrange vehicle funding on a quick turnaround, resolving any drawdown issues with the appropriate department.
  • To be the main point of contact for Funders, Dealers and internal departments ensuring that internal and external queries are dealt with punctually and professionally.
  • Managing the mailbox.
  • To manage funding cashflows, organising payment runs to Dealers and chasing payments from Funders.
  • To keep systems up to date for all funding applied for, received and settled maintaining the financial integrity of the data, liaising between department to resolve system errors.
  • To allocate all funder accounts and to deal promptly with differences.
  • Undertake adhoc invoicing and crediting and carry out month end procedures.
  • Obtaining HP clearance for 'SOLD’ vehicles, obtaining and verifying early termination quoted from Funders.
  • To prepare and circulate rates and monthly report within agreed timescales.
  • Obtaining credit facilities for corporate clients and monitoring client lines, co-ordinate financing of vehicles with various Funders.
  • To maintain and develop the Finance vehicle Excel database.
  • To facilitate Funder audits.
  • Develop and maintain relevant work instructions for the Funding function, with a constant eye for continuous improvement of processes.
  • To maintain an accurate and efficient digital filing system.
