Reporting to the Head of Fund Accounting, within a small team, broad responsibilities include performing the day-to-day activities of the Fund Accounting Team (BAU). Sign off the NAV, which is calculated by the Fund Administrator daily, with a fund range which includes, fixed income, derivative products such as futures and options, commodities, FX, rates, swaps, CDS, bonds, and repo's etc. This role will offer enormous product exposure and complexity. Other responsibilities include financial reporting and audit, fund expense monitoring, market opening, regulatory reporting, fund tax, projects and change management, which includes closures, launches, mergers and more, ensuring all process documentation is of high quality, including policies and procedures.
The team is instrumental to the smooth running of all the firm's funds. The team operates in a dynamic and fast-paced environment which makes every day unique and exciting. This role will enable you to develop a wide range of technical knowledge across the fund accounting and operations function, as well as deepen your understanding of how a Hedge fund works.

What you need to succeed
A graduate, qualified Accountant with a minimum of 2 years PQE, gained either in the big 4 or directly from investment management, it is essential to have experience of a broad range of fund types but NOT private equity or real estate. You must be an intelligently-curious and driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, changing and dynamic environment. What you'll get in return
