The Opportunity:

A Venture Capitalist firm are searching for a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their team in Mayfair. In this role you'd be assisting with a variety of aspects of the finance function, including portfolio monitoring and corporate finance.

Fund Accountant Duties:

  • Maintain ownership records for portfolio companies
  • Conduct regular reviews of portfolio performance and trends
  • Utilize fund models to monitor key performance indicators
  • Perform quarterly valuations of portfolio companies using diverse valuation methodologies
  • Manage fund cash flows and analyse financial models
  • Administer SPV and fund invoicing processes
  • Provide ad hoc analysis for portfolios and funds as needed
  • Oversee the preparation of year-end financial statements and coordinate audits
  • Monitor corporate group cash flow and ensure liquidity levels are sufficient
  • Develop annual budgets and produce monthly financial reports for the UK group of companies

Fund Accountant Profile:

  • Newly Qualified in an accounting qualification - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Experience in a similar role with exposure to VC Funds
  • Financial Modelling experience would be a plus
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
