£180 PAY including holiday pay (33 days)

Join our client, a global management consultancy as a Risk Analyst and conduct an in-depth analysis on cases associated with fraud, payment analysis and chargebacks in line with company policy. You will develop and support complex risk investigation activities and propose solutions to maintain trust in the platform. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal customers and external partners, including, the financial services industry and law enforcement.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Implement operational risk policy and procedures in line with regulatory and market changes
  • Perform analytics to evaluate the legitimacy of transactional logs
  • Perform investigation and present evidence on chargeback case, submit and monitor chargeback representment, and review and analyse trends in chargeback cases received
  • Perform investigation on potential fraud cases and observe customer transactions to identify fraudulent activity such as account takeover, friendly fraud, theft, and similar other risks
  • Discover new fraud trends by analysing accounts and transaction patterns
  • Review all alerts from external sources and ensure that appropriate actions are taken to mitigate fraud, generate suspicious activity reports, and risk management reports for stakeholders
  • Resolve internal escalated customer complaints independently

Qualifications

  • Understand the international payment industry, with more than 5 years of experience in payment risk control and e-commerce/live broadcast platforms
  • Perform investigation on potential fraud cases, present evidence on chargeback cases
  • Data analysis capability is preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven track record of managing and executing short and long term projects
  • Collaborates effectively with cross-functional entities across the enterprise
  • Ability to work meticulously with careful attention to detail, and communicate succinctly under high pressure
  • Ability to effectively prioritise work, recognise and appropriately deal with sensitive and confidential information
  • Candidate must be able to pass a background investigation

You must have worked in a Chargeback Analyst role prior, be available immediately and to travel and stay for one week in the UK, destination currently unknown, for training on site with the client. Please do not apply if you are unable to do so.
