Randstad Education is looking for an experienced Primary Teacher to support an excellent Primary School in the Sheffield S13 area on a long term basis. The school's ETHOS values teaching children in a safe and happy environment with all children included and provided with equal learning opportunities.

As a Primary Teacher your responsibilities includes:

  • Delivering engaging and collaborative lessons
  • Building rapport with students and staff
  • Using the primary curriculum to support students' learning
  • Organising fun and inclusive activities and games
  • Using your initiative in the classroom
  • Supporting students' progress plans/ individualised support plans
  • Meeting the daily objectives

To be successful in the Primary Teacher role, you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to process one through Randstad Education)
  • Hold eligibility to work in the UK
  • Have a minimum of 6 weeks experience teaching Key Stage 1/ Key Stage 2.
  • Have a strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have strong classroom and behaviour management
