French Tutor

Location: Across Shropshire

The succesful candidate to need to:

• To deliver short courses or taster activities to individuals age 16+
• To plan and deliver courses to a high professional standards.
• To undertake the statutory duty of care for learners so that the health and safety of learners is assured (including making sure every learner has a current learner handbook/leaflet and has fire safety explained to them);
• To attend staff meetings* and work closely with the management team to the benefit of professional practice; *If attendance is not possible through other commitments such as work, arrangement for 1:1 meeting with line manager must be made.

The post holder:

• Will ensure engagement with learners and maintenance of an appropriate personal profile,
• Will adopt a learner focused approach when delivering their sessions.
• Will act as advocate for their provision and work collaboratively with colleagues across the whole organisation to meet the needs of the people of Shropshire.
