Academics are currently in partnership with a Staffordshire Moorlands academy that is seeking to appoint an experienced and qualified Teacher of French.

This is a full time short term opportunity, with an ASAP start date. Work is guaranteed until Thursday 2nd May 2024, however this role does have the strong possibility of becoming extended dependent on the schools future requirements.

This academy is known for its continuous support to students in preparing them for life after their studies by enabling them to acquire valuable skills and knowledge.

Role Requirements

  • Have UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS). Applications are welcome from all Modern Foreign Languages Teacher at any stage of their career, including Early Career Teachers (ECTs) & Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs).
  • Hold the relevant Modern Foreign Languages qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons).
  • Be required to teach French to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Have strong behaviour and classroom management, with excellent subject knowledge.
  • To have the ability to teach and inspire positive learning attitudes.
  • Be able to adapt quickly within a new school environment and to be a good team player with fellow staff.
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service, or to be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS with ourselves (cost applied).

For this particular role you will be paid according to your teacher pay grade.
