The Supply Register is currently working in partnership with Ark John Keats Academy in Enfield to find an exceptional French Teacher to join their team from either September 2024.

We are looking for someone who has an unwavering determination to deliver excellence for their students and is committed to continually improving classroom practice and raising attainment.

Responsibilities

• Help to set high expectations for the department so that all students are inspired, motivated and challenged to reach their full potential
• Create a positive climate for learning by partaking in the MFL departments implementation of lesson routines and consistently and fair application of behaviour systems
• Develop strong partnerships and ensure regular communication with parents
• Be active in issues of student welfare and support
• Complete duties around the school, modelling best practice for all staff

Requirements

• Mastery of and enthusiasm for French
• Knowledge of the national secondary education system, examinations and curriculum
• Experience of reflecting on and improving teaching practice to increase student achievement
• Experience of interpreting student data to drive lesson planning and student progress
• Experience of raising attainment in a challenging environment
• Experience of leading successful enrichment which inspires and motivates learners
• Effective and systematic behaviour management
• Required to cover general primary curriculum as well.
• Must hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications
• Must hold Right to work in the UK
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one
• Must be able to provide a minimum of 2 professional references to cover the last 2 years
