French Speaking Accounts Receivable Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a French Speaking Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a dynamic and inclusive Retail business in Blackburn. This role offers a competitive salary of £24,000 - £26,000 and the chance to work within a rapidly growing, global organisation. The successful candidate will be part of a core finance team, ensuring that all approved invoices are processed timely and accurately. What you'll do:

As a French Speaking Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a pivotal role within the core finance team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all approved invoices are processed on time and paid, thereby ensuring smooth business operations. You will also be responsible for completing monthly supplier statement reconciliations and addressing any related queries. Your ability to communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance staff will be key in this role. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, taking ownership of solutions to prevent future issues. Working collaboratively with your team to meet crucial deadlines will also form an integral part of your role.

- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments for suppliers
- Complete monthly supplier statement reconciliations and handle any arising queries
- Communicate clearly with both finance and non-finance staff, expressing ideas and facts confidently
- Proactively seek opportunities for new and existing process improvements and implement them where appropriate
- Take ownership of solutions and prevent further occurrences
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet crucial deadlines

The ideal candidate will have:

- A degree within accounting and finance or other finance related degree
- Ability to work towards deadlines throughout the day
- Tenacious 'can do' attitude with high attention to detail
- Strong analytical and process skills
- Good Excel Skills
