French & Spanish Teacher

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Teacher of French & Spanish to join an enthusiastic and supportive Modern Foreign Languages department at a Dudley based school. The school continues to improve in terms of results, they are committed to providing high-quality education and opportunities for all its students. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective French and Spanish lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Inspire a love for language learning and culture through creative and interactive teaching methods.
  • Support students in developing their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in both French and Spanish.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the ongoing development of the Modern Foreign Languages curriculum and departmental resources.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help students achieve their academic goals.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Specialism in French and Spanish with the ability to teach both languages at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for promoting language learning and cultural appreciation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Experience teaching French and Spanish in a secondary school setting is preferred.
  • A commitment to contributing to the ongoing improvement and success of the school.
