Our client, a leader in logistics with a global presence, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Executive to join their team. As a Sales Executive responsible for field sales and business development, you will be crucial in driving sales growth within designated areas including Northumberland, Teesside, Cumbria, and Newcastle.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets within designated areas.
  • Identify and target SMEs within the logistics sector, focusing on warehousing and freight services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
  • Actively participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in field sales and business development, preferably within the logistics industry.
  • Experience in handling freight operations within warehousing.
  • Self-driven with a strong ability to generate leads and close sales.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel within designated sales areas.
