Right Now Group are currently recruiting for a Freight Customer Service Agent for a Large Airline GSA based in the Manchester Area. The ideal candidate will come from a previous background within Freight / Cargo that are looking to join a reputable company and progress in their career.

Job Duties:

  • Working within the customer services team in which you will be working alongside some of the most reputable Freight Forwarders & Airlines in the industry.
  • Handling client enquiries via phone, email and online portal.
  • Booking aircraft space for clients and to provide the best price and transit time.
  • liaising with the sales team about lapsed and existing accounts.
  • Ensure that all airline requirements are handled correctly in accordance with client requirements.
  • handle critical issues and ensure the accurate processing of freight documentation with all customer airline operational procedures.
  • Liaise with clients regularly to undertake permanent bookings.
  • Ensure that the in-house system is kept up to date.

Candidate Requirements for a Freight Customer Service Agent:

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience within Freight in some kind of capacity.
  • Effective communicator for all methods of communication.
  • positive and friendly attitude.
  • ability to be able to work independently will be key in this role

Additional Details:

Shift: Monday - Friday

Hours: 09:00 - 17:30

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000
