FPGA Engineer

Contract FPGA Design Engineer

Rate: up to £80ph, outside IR35

Location of work: Hybrid

Contract Length: 6 months initially

The Role:

An experienced FPGA Engineer is required to work on the FPGA design taskwork for a wireless communication product that will allow multiple IoT devices to connect to 4G and 5G cellular networks when in the field.

The IoT devices monitor and collect real time data that needs to be sent to the end user to analyse. The communication product you will be designing ensures communication connectivity is always available so that the data can be sent.

In this role you will be working part of a multidisciplined R&D team consisting of Electronic Engineers and Software Engineers. You will have the responsibility of the FPGA taskwork.

This is an opportunity to work to join a project development at the early stages.

Skills required:

• Experienced in FPGA engineering
• VHDL or Verilog
• RTL
• Digital Design and High speed interfaces
• DSP
• Telecoms e.g. 4G, 5G or IoT connectivity
