FP&A Manager

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are excited to be partnering with our client, a rapidly growing PE backed business based in Bristol, in their recruitment of an FP&A Manager on a permanent basis. This business are going from strength to strength, have a global reach and take pride in making a difference to the environment through sustainability actions.

The role of the FP&A Manager will be responsible for establishing best in class financial reporting, and creating budgeting and reforecasting models for the business. You will also partner the wider business to improve and automate business processes.

The successful candidate will have excellent financial and analytical skills with specific expertise in Excel, Power BI, Power Query, SQL and dashboard tools.

The salary on offer is up to c£80,000 + benefits (DOE). They adopt a 90% working from home model with approx. once / twice a fortnight day in their Bristol office.

Responsibilities:

• Utilise the Data warehouse and other systems data to create automated board reporting
• Create budget and forecast models using Power Query & Power BI
• Budget tracking and forecasting
• Support the implementation of budget and consolidation reporting tool
• Work with the wider business to improve data quality and the integrity of data
• Understand the business operating model and partner with commercial & accounting teams
• Develop and implement data quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity

About You/ Required Skills:

• Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
• Excellent analytical skillset
• Prior experience with Power Query, SQL, Power BI - advanced Excel
• Prior experience of working with a data warehouse
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Detail orientated with a high level of accuracy and problem solving skills
