FP&A Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen on behalf of a leading logistics group for an experienced FP&A Management Accountant to compliment the team as they continue on their growth strategy.

This is a meaty role reporting directly into the CFO and working closely with the Finance Director.

Key duties will include:

  • Pulling together weekly analysis from multiple sites and providing meaningful commercial information.
  • In depth analysis of key sites, requiring strong excel, data manipulation experience and strong communication skills.
  • Helping to produce management accounts on a monthly basis, highlighting significant commercial area’s the business and Business Managers need to be aware of.
  • Evaluating and monitoring financial information systems and recommending improvements where needed
  • Communicating and interpreting financial data to non-financial managers
  • Identifying problem areas and presenting recommendations to company management
  • Budgets and forecasting

The ideal candidate will be Qualified or QBE, have proven commercial management accounting experience ideally within logistics (not essential) or multi-site reporting. You will be hands on, able to work in a fluid environment, be commercially focused and a self-starter.

The successful candidate will benefit from being in a growing business, the opportunity for hybrid working with a couple of days in the office, either around the Midlands of the North. You will be joining at a key time in the growth strategy, have exposure to all levels of the business, and be mentored by the highly experienced Finance Director and CFO.
