Position: Student Support Specialist
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for students facing behavioral challenges.
  • Assist in maintaining a secure campus atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement behavioral intervention strategies.
  • Establish rapport with students to encourage positive behavior and personal growth.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a security guard or in a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with challenging behaviors.
  • Ability to de-escalate situations and promote a positive atmosphere.

Preferred Skills:

  • Training in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care principles.
