Forklift Truck Engineer

Imperial Recruitment Group are delighted to announce that we are working on behalf of a long established family run business to recruit a Forklift Truck Field Service Engineer on a permanent basis.

LOCATION: Gloucester or surrounding areas

SALARY: Competitive

LENGTH OF CONTRACT: Permanent

ROLE SUMMARY:

A field based role covering Hereford, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Worcester and Kidderminster regions. You will ensure services and repairs are completed to a satisfactory standard to a large range of Forklift Trucks (Battery, Gas and Diesel) as well as other handling equipment.

DUTIES ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Carry out Servicing, breakdowns and preventive maintenance in the most efficient and cost effective manner
• Repair, test, calibrate
• Provide on-site technical support to clients as required
• Both troubleshoot and fault find
• Build relations and offer excellent customer service
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and test equipment in satisfactory conditions
• Adhere to company guidelines regarding safety procedures
• Ensure all documentations and records relating to service/ repairs are completed and in accordance with company procedures
• Ensure efficient completion of tasks assigned by Engineer Coordinator & Operations Manager in the allocated time provided
• Work with Customer Support Team to meet scheduled/committed activity & Ensure standards and commitments are maintained and upheld
• Attend regular training courses as required

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

• Experience servicing and repairing Forklift Trucks alternatively be confident repairing agricultural vehicles and equipment
• Ideally you will hold a NVQ or City & Guilds in an engineering discipline
• Full clean driving license
• Exceptional time management skills
• Strong customer service skills
