Forklift / Manufacturing Operative (Shifts)

Our client manufactures paving slabs & block paving for residential and commercial businesses.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-known and established company at their site in Sandy. Working within an industrial production environment, this role will be ongoing with the potential to be permanent, which is the appeal of this work.

You must come from a manufacturing background and hold a current forklift license.

Duties include:

  • General labouring and manual work - moving products, paving slabs, and block paving around the site.
  • Use of forklift for loading and unloading.
  • Working on a production line.
  • Loading materials into machines.
  • Machine minding.
  • Stacking and packing finished goods.
  • Working to targets and deadlines.
  • Strict adherence to Health & Safety requirements.

You will need to be VERY physically fit, reliable, comfortable with manual labour and speak a competent level of English and be able to work as part of a team.

You must have your own Steel Toe Capped Safety Boots, NOT safety Trainers!

Hours: 12-hour shifts (6 to 6) on a 2-week rotation. (Days & Nights)

Week 1: Monday - Thursday 6am to 6pm (Days)

Week 2: Monday - Wednesday 6pm to 6am (Nights)
