Forensic Accounting / Investigations Director - Cyprus

Our client is a leading global advisory firm with over 30 international offices providing expert services to global blue-chip clients. We are now seeking to hire an experienced Forensic Director based in Cyprus to help lead the Forensic practice in the region, working closely with the Middle East and European teams.

Overview:

* Oversee and execute complex cross-border projects from inception to closure, with a focus on fraud investigations, asset recovery (collaborating with our Insolvency business), contentious disputes, and problem-solving investigations and advisory services.
* Drive specified revenue generation for the business through personal networking efforts and active participation in business development activities, including client pitches.

Responsibilities:

* Provide complex proposals in response to client briefings, determining the appropriate structure and methodologies to be employed, while also contributing to the creation of novel methodologies.
* Generate high-quality written deliverables for clients throughout the entire project lifecycle, from inception to closure, and deliver comprehensive verbal updates and presentations to clients.
* Lead and manage teams to ensure alignment with client requirements and budgets, while prioritizing client satisfaction and expectations.
* Conduct thorough analysis and management of project budgets, as well as support and/or lead activities related to office finances and P&L affairs.
* Demonstrate the ability to drive forward and coordinate multiple concurrent projects and tasks, effectively managing competing demands.
* Utilize existing resources and relationships to expand the firm's presence in the region and beyond, engaging with key stakeholders to promote and support firm-wide growth initiatives.
* Contribute to marketing and business development efforts by providing technical expertise, delivering thought leadership, and effectively communicating value propositions to clients and prospects.
* Stay abreast of technical developments in the market and understand their implications for clients, effectively communicating these insights to clients, prospects, and firm leadership.
* Take a proactive role in promoting client offerings and strengthening strategic relationships.
* Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to junior staff members and oversee a portfolio of forensic assignments.

Experience:

* Professionally certified with credentials such as CFE/CFA/CPA/ACA/ACCA.
* Demonstrates exceptional industry expertise in intricate investigations, asset tracing and recovery, forensic accounting, and addressing financial crimes.
* Possesses leadership qualities and is frequently sought out by peers for expertise and industry insights.
* Exhibits strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
* Upholds high standards of ethical and business conduct.
* Experienced in identifying and assessing compliance and commercial risks, with the ability to contribute to the development of policies and processes to mitigate those risks.
