Food Technology - Teaching Assistant

Are you available for work and have experience in childcare?

We are supporting a secondary school in Banbury who require someone to support their Food Technology classes. You will need to be a highly organised and reliable Teaching Assistants to support our School in assisting in delivery of quality, accessible learning to their pupils. 

You will be supporting in the food technology department class sessions for key stage 3-4. You will be working with groups of children and young people under the direction of a class teacher. You will be responsible for getting ingredients ready for students, putting food away, class hygiene - washing and tidying up, and monitoring of stock for the department. This will be from 8.30-3.00pm Monday – Friday during term time. 

You will need:

• Previous experience working with children in a learning setting.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to use your initiative.
• Ability to communicate effectively with everyone and to be able to work as part of a team.
• Experience working with children with SEND would be desirable but not essential.
• Experience in working with Food is desirable but not essential.
