Our client, a leading international food manufacturer, is looking to recruit an organised, professional, and creative Food Technologist to work closely with the NPD team during the development of new products and product improvements.

Reporting to the Senior NPD Process Technologist duties to include:

  • Joining the Technical Service team you will be working on pack copy, calculating nutritional’s and advising on any on pack claims for products made at 2 manufacturing sites.
  • Liaising with external designers, printers and key stakeholders to ensure all packaging and labelling meets legal/regulatory requirements in the country in which it is being marketed.
  • Manage the artwork approval process for your projects.
  • Approve raw material specifications used in your project.
  • Approval of factory specifications for your project.
  • Working with the business to deliver the required working practices, documentation for BRCGS accreditation.

As a successful candidate you will have good knowledge and technical experience in food manufacturing and a degree in food technology / food science / nutrition or equivalent could be beneficial with excellent communication and teamwork skills, organised, flexible, and innovative approach together with a passion for the food and the food industry.

Salary £30,000 - £40,000 + Bonus
