A&G Resourcing Ltd has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Food Production & Packing Operative to join our client based in Shipton-under-Wychwood.

We are looking for self-motivated and reliable candidates who would like to work for leading family-run company.

Permanent position with interviews available immediately.

Monday-Friday

14:00pm - 22:00pm

Salary £25 - £27k/year DOE

Main responsibilities will involve:

  • Operate machinery safely.
  • Pack product and adhere to any mixing recipes, related to the required specification.
  • Test and check for a quality product release
  • Update all necessary computerised data
  • Complete or adhere to all Operating Procedures
  • Follow routines on the packing line.
  • Pay attention to print codes/labelling, correct bag identification and pallet quality.
  • Accurately visually check all products being packed
  • Check and maintain stocks of packaging materials to meet future requirements
  • Test any product as per Operating Procedure, Store Samples
  • Record all findings and maintain all designated paperwork systems
  • Understand and follow all health and safety requirements and food safety standards.

Skills / experience required:

  • Good communication skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Previous food production experience ideal, but not essential
  • Forklift licence is ideal, but not essential
  • A good working knowledge of a packing plant and operating procedures is ideal
  • DUE TO LOCATION OWN TRANSPORT IS ESSENTIAL
