Food Production Operative

My client a well established food manufacturers is seeking a number of skilled and detail-oriented Production Operatives to join their team. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of a food production line. This is a vital role in the organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining product quality and meeting production targets.

We have two vacancies for this department both working 5 days out of 7 which includes working Saturday and Sunday. We require one person for the morning shift 6am-2pm and one person for the day shift 8am-4pm.

Responsibilities:
- Working in a food production hall you may be required to work on ovens or use equipment such as mixers and weighing scales.
- Work in a detailed orientated manor to meet standards and duplicate orders effectively
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain product consistency and quality
- Follow targets and KPIs
- Conduct basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Communicate any equipment or quality issues to supervisors promptly
- Complete production reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner

Skills:
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, calculating quantities, etc.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles
- Understanding of food production processes and procedures
