Prodrive Recruitment Ltd are seeking an experienced Production/Machine Operator to join a small friendly team within our clients facility in Malvern.

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery in their food production facility. Your attention to detail and knowledge of food safety regulations will be crucial in ensuring the quality and efficiency of the production processes.

Responsibilities:
-Operate, and monitor automated packing equipment according to production specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during operation
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet company standards, including metal detector. checkweigher verification and seal integrity.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a food production environment preferred
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating production quantities
- Knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles and food safety regulations, such as FSSC 22000, Organic, Kosher & Halal awareness preferred - although training will be provided.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform minor repairs and adjustments on machinery
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

FLT Licence (certified) an advantage although not essential
