Our client, a well-established company in Basildon is looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Service Co-ordinator to join their team to cover a 12-month maternity contract with the possibility of the role developing into a permanent contract.

Our client is looking for a friendly and personable individual with experience of co-ordinating facilities maintenance engineers workloads alongside excellent communication skills, a confident and positive approach and the ability to multi-task.

The focus of this role will be to provide a first-class service to customers. You will be answering incoming calls and dealing with planned preventative maintenance contracts and works and emergency breakdown / reactive calls. Other aspects of this role will include preparing quotes, ordering spare parts and carrying out all the related client, contract and compliance administration.

For this role you will need:

  • Previous experience within a Facilities Maintenance Service Co-ordinator role
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • You must possess strong organisation skills, use your initiative, work independently and prioritise your workload.
  • Business and / or Administration Qualifications
  • Experience of Construction Manager or similar programmes.
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm. The client also offers free onsite parking.

The salary for this position is £26,520 per annum rising to £28,730 after successful completion of 6-month probation period.
