FM Project Manager

We are looking for a highly flexible project manager that has a track record of taking overall charge of the planning and execution of Complex Facilities Management Site Projects. The person needs to be self-motivated and have a pro-active approach and excellent communication skills.

Role requirements include:

· Experience & understanding of NEC Contracts

· Experience of working within the CDM Construction Regulations.

· Have varied project management experience within the Pharmaceutical and Research & Development Environment together with a solid construction background.

· Experience of managing projects from compiling an initial proposal, to handover of completed works.

· A Construction Managers Health & Safety Qualification, such as SMSTS.

· Good working knowledge of current construction techniques.

· Familiar with permit to work systems.

· RAM's - Both writing and assessments of subcontractors RAM's.

· Isolations & Lock out Tag out procedures.

· Reading & Understanding drawings in conjunction with specification.

· Estimating & pulling together proposals for Clients.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to provide accurate and comprehensive reporting.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes (Excel , Word , Outlook, SharePoint)

Experience, preferably to include:

· Experience in working within GMP Facilities (Would be beneficial)

· Obtaining quotes from mechanical / electrical / civil / builders / painters / dry lining / Joinery

· Preparing proposals for client

· Fire Alarm installation.

· BMS installation

· Air Conditioning installation (Testing & Commissioning)

· Clean room construction & Validation

· HVAC Installation, Testing & Commissioning

· Converting Old buildings into office space with all services and building works to be covered.

· Overseeing new lighting installations including Lighting controls & Emergency Lighting

· Roof Repairs & Full Roof replacements
