Floorcare Service Technician - £22,700 (OTE £23,700)- Swindon

As a Service Technician in our Floorcare division, you’ll play a key part in the success of phs.

To our customers, you are the face of the company and your excellent customer service skills help keep our customers happy – and ensure they remain our customers!
You will help play a vital part in keeping our customers premises clean and safe as your role will involve driving to our customers locations following prearranged routes and exchanging floor mats, replacing the used mat for a clean one ensuring these are placed in the correct locations. 
You will bring and unload the used mats back at the depot.

Starting your route from home and finishing at the depot in LOCATION, you do not need your own transport as you are able to use your vehicle to get home after each shift.

A Day in the life of a floorcare Service Technician at phs will involve.
  • Starting your shift from the minute you leave home or the depot
  • Driving to our customers sites on your allocated route
  • Exchanging dirty mats for clean fresh mats
  • Returning to your allocated depot each day to unload the dirty mats and load your vehicle with clean mats for the following day
The ideal candidate for a Service Technician role will:
  • Be happy driving a 3.5 tonne size vehicle for a large part of the day (Traffic issues are an unavoidable part of this job)
  • Be confident handling large quantities of floor mats which have a range of different weights
  • Be comfortable working in and around customer sites in a wide variety of different environments
  • Be able to work flexibly between the hours of 6am and 6pm, 40 hours per week
  • Have held a full UK Manual Driving Licence for a minimum of 12 months (Subject to insurance requirements), with a maximum of 6 points
  • Not have DR/DD/CD/TT/IN/AC endorsements in the past 5 years
