Job Description:
We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Flood Technician with expertise in restoration and water damage to join our team in Bournemouth. The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to flood and water damage incidents, conducting restoration procedures, and ensuring properties are restored to their pre-damage condition. As a Flood Technician, you will have a significant impact in mitigating the effects of water damage and providing efficient and effective restoration services to our clients in Bournemouth and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to emergency calls for flood and water damage incidents
Assess the extent of damage, formulate restoration plans, and implement restoration procedures
Execute water extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes to minimize damage
Remove damaged materials, sanitize affected areas, and coordinate repair work
Work collaboratively with insurance providers and adjusters to manage restoration claims
Maintain thorough documentation of restoration procedures, equipment used, and restoration outcomes
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Flood Technician or in water damage restoration
Strong knowledge of restoration procedures, equipment, and materials
Ability to work efficiently and decisively in high-pressure emergency situations
Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Possession of a valid driver's license and readiness to travel as required
Certification in water damage restoration is advantageous
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
Location: Bournemouth (BH1 1DS)
