Fitter

A much trusted and highly regarded supplier of static and mobile screening plants for a diverse range of customer based in Chesterfield is looking for Fitter to join their team.

The Role
  • To be familiarised with company procedures, Customer work / job sheets / H &S / Etc.
  • To be familiarised with the plant items Servicing Maintenance Repairs Commissioning
  • Operating Plants Screening media etc plant fleet Customers / Sites
  • To mostly start work at their yard at 07:00 am
  • Working on tracked screening plants
  • Washing down servicing preparing for next hire changing screening media ie screen meshes etc repairs as required
  • Call outs to various sites re servicing break downs maintenance etc
  • Engines, Hydraulics, electrics, fabrication, welding etc
What's on offer:
  • Hourly rate > Mon – Fri = after 1st 8 hours = time & ½ then double time incl. travel / Saturdays = 1st 4 hours at time & ½ then double time/ Sundays/ B Holidays = double time
    Time sheets to be produced Monday am So E G W/E Sunday xx/xx/xx Paid following Fri am xx/xx/xx Pay Slips provided each week showing Gross Pay Tax Deductions Nett Pay Etc
  • Bank Holidays = Paid 8 Hours per day in not worked
  • 4 Weeks Paid holidays per calendar year Paid 40 hours
  • Optional Workplace Pension Scheme
  • Out of pocket Expenses
  • Service van with tracker Sat Nav & Fuel card supplied
  • Company mobile with CDP e mail account plus CDP WhatsApp installed
  • Work wear clothing Safety clothing provided as required
