Central Employment is recruiting for our client, a leading specialist in rotating equipment reverse engineering in Consett, County Durham. They're primed for growth and seek individuals to join their team.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Fitter will disassemble, inspect, repair, and re-assemble various rotating equipment, primarily pumps. You'll work in a small team handling equipment from a global customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely equipment disassembly, inspection, and repair.
  • Ensure work meets high standards for customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in report generation to meet customer expectations.
  • Support internal teams to address issues.
  • Participate in team activities.

Person Specification:

  • Time-served fitter/engineer.
  • Experience in servicing pumps and rotating equipment.
  • Flexible with availability for overtime.
  • Honest and reliable.

Package:

  • Salary: £31,361.00 (£16.30 per hour).
  • 37 Hours per week:
    • Mon–Thurs: 07:30 -16:00
    • Fri: 07:30-12:30
  • Company Pension, Overtime, Cycle to Work Scheme.
